I grew up in London, Ontario and became interested in the dental field during my high school co-op program. I pursued that career path later after high school and graduated with honors as a Level II Dental Assistant from South Western Medix in 2001. After working as a Dental Assistant for a couple years, I came to realize that I wanted to do something else in the dental field.
White Oaks Mall Dental hired me as the Hygiene / Sterile Bay Coordinator seven years ago and I am proud to say that this was the dental career I was searching for. The scope of my job includes: managing the daily operations of the sterile bay, implementing patient and employee health and safety programs and assist each hygienist with any help needed for better patient care.
I am honored that in 2011 Dr. Viana included me to be a part of the Viana Family Dental team Monday evenings. You may see me Monday nights helping out hygiene as well as helping out Dr. Viana with your dental exams. I look forward to meeting all of his patients in the near future. |
