Hi, My name is Habiba Rezazada, I grew up most of my life in Australia but my background is Kabul Afghanistan. You may wonder why I moved to Canada? Well my parents value education very much and thought Canada is the way to go for better future for my older brother and I.
In Austrialia where two of my uncles are Dentists and have Dental clinic and I guess this is where the love or passion for dental field started, every day after school I had to be at the clinic because there was no one at home to take care of me (both parents working). While I was the clinic I would be bored and so the dental hygienist would make stories about how unique each tooth is and the anatomy of each this is where I become more interested in teeth and how important it is to take care of them. After all "Oral health is related to overall health".-very true! Here in Canada, I went to Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School and then to Fanshawe College for Dental Assistant and graduated Dental Hygiene in 2010.
Since July 2010, I have been working with this amazing team as registered dental hygienist. I truly believe everything starts withoral cavity to the rest of the body, many disease can be reduced or stabilized by reducing number of many microorganism in the mouth by frequent dental hygiene visit.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as beach volleyball and swimming and love to read (pride and prejudice one of my favourite) last but not least your smile is our pride. |
